March 5th, 2017 - Vietnam Tour

Got up very early (even before the chickens) to join the locals at a
bustling floating market on the Mekong Delta. These markets draw hundreds of
waterborne buyers and sellers from nearby farms and villages. Vietnam's
version of Black Friday, only it is a regular event.

Left the chaos of the market and motored on down the river a bit to another
local house and orchard before heading back to Can Tho for some breakfast.

Decided to set out exploring the city before it got to hot. Headed for the
riverbank and found a lovely promenade and park area. Checked out a local
market, did some shopping and found our way back to the hotel.

We had all scheduled massages for the afternoon, and after the heat and
miles walked were really looking forward to it. However, we soon discovered
that the place we had booked the massages was not interested in giving
massages to women - need I say more?? Oh well, another part of the
adventure.
