Drove up to Phang Nga Bay on the mainland - long drive.
Boarded a boat and cruised through the bay getting fantastic views of all
the islands in and around this bay. As a side note we also passed by Khao
Ping Gun aka James Bond Island (parts of the movie Man with the Golden Gun
were filmed here in 1974).
We also stopped at Koh Panyl water village, where over 400 houses are built
on stilts and are connected by wooden walkways.
Last stop before heading back to the ship was at Wat Tham Suwan Kuha, a cave
temple that dates back more than 200 years (with lots of monkeys to greet
us).
The sail away was beautiful. While waiting for the ship to head out I
spotted a gorgeous sailing yacht - now all I need to do is find someone to
captain it for me!
