Upon arrival yesterday I was surprised by the lack of people and traffic - I
did not expect a Sunday to be that different.
I was here in February, saw the beautiful Taj Palace Hotel and decided I
would make it part of my tour of India.
I may owe my travel agent, Betsy Everhart of Cherry Creek Travel/Altour, a
big "Thank You". Upon arrival I was informed that I had been upgraded to a
Palace Club suite on the top floor in the palace wing of the hotel. The only
thing better was the wonderful dinner at Wasabi with a view of the "Gateway
to India" with the ongoing light show.
After checking out of the hotel I could not resist walking around and
absorbing more of the sights and sounds of this city before heading back to
the ship.
