The flight was late leaving Denver while they begged for seven people to
give up their seats. They were finally successful when they upped the ante
to a hotel for the night, $400 voucher per ticket AND first class seats for
the following day. At that point a family of five got off the plane and
will continue their trip back home tomorrow.
I haven't slept well the past two nights - excited about the trip - so - I
think I will sleep in and enjoy breakfast in my room. The plan is to take us
over to the ship about 11:30 tomorrow morning for boarding. If I am lucky,
my bags will be in my room waiting for me and I can get the unpacking done.
If not, I might have to go up and sit by the pool. We will have four days
at sea before we arrive in Honolulu, so I am sure I will get plenty of time
to sit in the sun and read. I got a little ambitious preparing for the trip
and have 79 unread books loaded on my Kindle - all fiction. I am sure there
are some of you who are surprised to hear that I read fiction!
The ship is due to sail out at 5PM tomorrow. You can go to this web site and
watch it sail away: http://www.cruise-cams.com/
Internet service on the ship can be hit and miss (and I am new at this), so
do not be concerned if you do not see me posting.
