because of the beautiful white sand beaches and scenery.
We were in the Southern part of Lombok, but there is a new airport in the
North with several high-end resort. I think it has a better chance of
offering a laid-back alternative to the hustle and bustle of Bali.
Today was the hottest day so far, with no breeze - I am sure I will
experience even hotter as we leave winter behind - but I have to admit I
took refuge this afternoon in a nice air conditioned spot.
