It was chilly and foggy upon arrival in Montreal this morning. Luckily, the
fog lifted by the time we left the ship to tour the city.
The most exciting thing today was going down the one-way ramp from the pier
into the city - it was only a few inches wider than the bus - we were not
overly confident our driver could negotiate the approach with its sharp turn
and narrow lane (he had already taken out a parking lot sign) - everyone
clapped when we made it down!
Enjoyed the tour of the city and were thankful that the forecasted rain
never came.
The sail away was beautiful as we turned around to head through the St.
Lawrence back out to the open sea.
We will be following the same course back to Boston; hopefully we will be as
lucky with our weather on the return trip.
We had a wonderful group of tablemates last week and decided to keep our
same table and continue to dine together for the return trip.
