The Rotterdam arrived in Naples behind its' big sister ship the Nieuw
Amsterdam, Holland America's newest ship.
The sail into the Bay of Naples with the sun shining on the many historic
buildings surrounding the Maritime Station.
As soon as we were cleared to leave the ship, I headed over to the ferry
station and boarded a jet boat for Capri.
It has been eleven years since my last visit to the Isle of Capri, and I
would bet there were eleven times as many tourists! That said, it is still a
lovely place, just not as quaint.
Took a mini bus to the top and worked my way down the hills to AnaCapri,
Capri and then down to the coast to catch a ride back to Naples.
The Captain is predicting clouds and rain tomorrow, I do not and will not
believe it. I have been sailing 106 days and have only had one rainy day.
