March 22nd - Sihanoukville, Cambodia

Arrived to Cambodia this morning - a new country for me!

Picked up from the pier by our wonderful guide and headed to Stung Hau Town,
a small fishing town, could not believe the poverty and living conditions.
Was told that the average monthly salary for someone who works in the city
is $120 per month. Tourism and fishing are the primary occupations for the
people in this part of Cambodia.

Made a stop at the markets in Sihanoukville - along with every other cruise
passenger today. Wandered around looking at all the merchandise and
especially liked the produce and fish markets. Turtle soup anyone?

Had lunch at a beachside restaurant on Treasure Island, great food and
breezes. Bagged up our extra food and headed out looking for the monkeys.

Our flight was delayed, so we took the long way to the airport along the
many beautiful white sand beaches.

After our flight to Siem Reap, we checked into our hotel and enjoyed a
dinner beside the pool and enjoyed a cultural show.

Looking forward to Angkor Wat tomorrow.
