August 18th - Copenhagen, Denmark

Arrived in Copenhagen this morning to 40 MPH winds, making it very
difficult for the captain to safely pull up to the pier.

Took a drive through the city and boarded a boat to explore the city via the
canals and inner harbor.

Watched the changing of the guard before heading out to Rosenborg Castle
which was first built as a country summer house and is now a museum. Looking
at all of the beautiful carved ivory items in cases, it made me wonder how
long it would be before it would be deemed inappropriate to display these
items and they would be hidden away,

Before heading back to the ship I spent a couple of hours strolling through
Tivoli Gardens doing some people watching and taking in all of the
magnificent flowers.

Tomorrow, heading to the countryside.
