January 20th - Piraeus, Greece

The ship arrived this morning and about half of the passengers disembarked,
and I am assuming an equal number of new guests arrived. Very busy day for
the staff who always work so hard - doubtful many were able to get off the
ship today.

Five million of the country's ten million inhabitants live in the cities.
Supposedly it was not busy today, you could have fooled me, I cannot imagine
what it is like when it is "busy".

Headed through Piraeus to Athens to explore the Acropolis, erected 437-432
BC. The lack of crowds made for a great day exploring the various
structures. No building in the surrounding areas may be more than 6-8
stories, so that the Acropolis can be viewed from more places.

It was hazy all day, so it was difficult to get many good photos, but the
weather could not have been better.

Congrats to the Denver Broncos in their victory over the New England
Patriots.
