We had sunshine today, but very high winds and rough seas, so I did not spend much time outside (I tried, however I had the deck all to myself, which should give you an indication of the conditions). In the Lido pool mid-ship the water was sloshing up and out of the pool. That is okay, I am sure there will plenty of perfect days ahead of me.
I spent the day reading, doing puzzles and in the gym (and of course getting everything perfectly organized in my room). It was nice to have a quiet day.
Tonight was our first formal night. Betsy, Jerri, Sandy and Carol all looked lovely, as did our chaperon, Al. I told him he is either very lucky or is being punished, since he is at a table full of women. So far he seems to be enjoying it. We will have to see if he feels the same way in a couple of weeks.
Tomorrow is another sea day, so hopefully the winds will die down and I can spend some time in the sun.
